COLUMBUS, GA (WXTX) -
Stores opened early Friday to accommodate Apple fans waiting to get their hands on the latest iPhone 5. Locals have been waiting in lines outside Columbus stores since 12:00 a.m.
Already, presales of the new model of the iPhone set a new AT&T record. Two million phones were sold in one day and were sold out in one hour. Those figures doubled iPhone 4's presale orders.
The new phone features a bigger screen, a slimmer and lighter frame and will have a 4g LTE wireless capability and a faster processor.
