Soldier found unresponsive at Fort Benning

A soldier with the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Benning was found dead on Sunday.

Specialist Matthew Wood, 22, from Lyman, N.H was found unresponsive in his barracks Sunday morning.

Woods started his career in the military in 2009.  He finished his initial training at Fort Knox in Kentucky and came to Fort Benning in May of 2009.

The cause of death is still unknown at this time.
