Katherine Kington

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Katherine joined the WXTX team in January 2010. Katherine is the Weekend Anchor and a General Assignments Reporter, primarily in the East Alabama Bureau.

She graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Radio, Television and Film, focusing on Broadcast Journalism and minored in Political Science. She is an alumna of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

Before joining the team, Katherine interned in Atlanta with FOX Sports South. At Auburn, Katherine focused on her career with Auburn's News Station, Eagle Eye News. She enjoyed reporting, anchoring and in her final year was executive producer.

She is excited to be a part of the team and close to her alma mater.

She loves cooking, playing with her dog Miles and rolling Toomer's Corner every chance she gets.
