Kristin Gold

Kristin Gold joined the sports team in July 2010 as the Sports Specialist. 

You can catch her anchoring sports on Saturdays and reporting on your local teams throughout the week.

Kristin grew up in the San Francisco Bay area.  Craving seasons, snow and college football she migrated east to Columbus, OH to attend Denison University.

At Denison Kristin was a member of the Varsity Swim team before becoming the Sports Editor for the campus newspaper.  Not cold enough, Kristin then went further north to Syracuse University's Newhouse School where she earned her Masters in Broadcast Journalism.

Kristin got her first job in the business an hour south of Syracuse, as Sports Director at WIVT in Binghamton, NY.  Now, she's decided to ditch the snow and try her hand at humidity!

Kristin is a huge sports fan but her favorite is baseball.  She can often be seen cheering on the San Francisco Giants or her brother, who pitches for the Oregon Ducks.
